New addition to Istanbul apartments

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

New Istanbul apartments have been added to our portfolio, the Nisantasi. In the same building three identical one-bedroom apartments are available for city breaks or extended stays. These Istanbul apartments are perfect for a group on a business trip or holidays as they can accommodate nine people in the same building.

The main advantage of this new addition is that the building is serviced with 24/7 reception and security, a gym and sauna accessible for free by guests. Also, the Nisantasi Apartments have been recently refurbished to suit international guests and have been decorated with a modern but welcoming style.

Nisantasi Apartments

Boasting a prime location in the heart of the fashionable Nisantasi area, these city break apartments are just a short walk from the most luxurious shops, finest restaurants and trendiest bars Istanbul has to offer. Madrid boutique apartments

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009

We found some really stylish apartments in Madrid and decided to publish them on our website. They are managed by a local agency that took care of their chic decoration and every detail to make them unique. Each apartment has its own style but they all follow the concept of boutique ambience in a central location.

These Madrid apartments are usually rented to special guests; they are the temporary home to those international theatre artists who stay in Madrid during their performance, from a week to several months. Now they are also available for tourists who go to the Spanish capital to enjoy the sites, shopping or to have a romantic city break. Now we can all enjoy these cozy, boutique apartments in the very heart of Madrid.

Take a look at this petit studio, The Buhardilla, in the well known area of Salesas very near the Gran Via and Paseo de Recoletos, one of the most desired parts of town to stay.

Buhardilla, literally means attic; this is indeed a converted attic in a stately building. The original beams have been preserved, which combined with the modern furniture, white and black with just a splash of color, create an artistic ambience.

Its location is an added attraction because of its perfect balance between residential life and the contemporary urban feeling that one gets from the cafes, the fashionable restaurants, art galleries and specialized boutiques and gourmet shops for sophisticated people.

Madrid Penthouses, the spirit of modern Spain

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Madrid is one of the most thriving cities in the South of Europe and it is famous for its rich cultural life, the tasty tapas and its throbbing night life. If you wish to experience the essence of modern Spain, Madrid is definitely the city where you should spend some time to take in its true spirit.

We have noticed these modern apartments, the Santa Ana Penthouses, which are located right in the centre of Madrid and had to have them on our site.

Santa Ana Penthouse, Madrid

Housed in a building just down the street from Plaza Mayor, they make a comfortable and stylish home base to enjoy central Madrid. The building is 19th century and completely restored and it is just 3 minutes walk from Puerta del Sol with views from the building down into the historic Plaza Mayor, just 300 meters away. This old town area of Madrid is full of life with markets, cafes, restaurants, nightlife and traditional culture.

These modern penthouses have large queen-size beds, spacious living areas and lots of natural light. Relaxing in designer decoration with all the modern facilities including fully equipped kitchens and newly renovated bathrooms is a real pleasure.

The Beletage of Amsterdam

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Amsterdam still shows the architectural grandeur of the Dutch Golden Age in the XVII century, when the flourishing of trade, arts and sciences remodeled the urban planning, new canals that were being dug to expand the city and the richest merchants, and generally the patricians, had their beautiful canal houses built alongside the canals as a display of their social status. On the keisersgracht’s canal (literally Canal of the Lords) some of the most representative canal houses of the time can still be admired in all their splendour.

Their ornamented stone façades are very impressive; however the most prominent features of a canal house front are its entrance, the piano nobile and the distinctive decorative elements like the gables. A few steps above street level, with pillars on each side, opens an imposing door. The main parlour faces the canal side offering great canal views from its impressive, large windows.

The Keisersgracht Bel-etage apartment is a beautiful example of the splendour of the time.

Cute House Boats in Amsterdam

Friday, March 20th, 2009

Looking for something different in Amsterdam?  Want to rent a cute house boat instead of a hotel?  Take a look at our latest addition in Amsterdam, the Jordaan Houseboat.

Jordaan house boat amsterdam rental

The Jordaan Houseboat offers all the comfort you would need for your stay and it really looks like a normal house: living room with open kitchen, dining room, double and single bedrooms, bathroom and balcony. Everything in this accommodation is very well looked after, clean and cozy.

Because it is not really built on a boat, but on a floating concrete block, it doesn’t swing much with the waves of the passing boats. In the winter, the central heating will keep you warm, because you can set the temperature you want.

Bellevue Amsterdam Apartment

The Bellevue Apartment is set in the Jordaan, in the historical centre of Amsterdam, on the Prinsengracht canal. Absolutely the best part of Amsterdam. The house is on a corner that gives the most spectacular view: one side to the canal boats and the other side to a 16th century church.
